Pool Party Invite

I'm working on Pool Party Invitations for my 2 Great Nieces out in California, Sam & Carley! I used copic markers to color, and  Su's dazzling diamonds and crystal effects.

Thought I would share some of the lovely Easter cards I received this year! The top left is from Laura, the flowers are painted with Crystal Effects and then cut out and layered! Patti's is next on the right with the rabbit being stamped, sponged and then cut out with deckeled scissors. Diana's is on the bottom, stamped and colored with some clear Jelly Roll ink used on the lamb and bunny tail! THEY ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL AND EACH ONE UNIQUE!
Thank you for thinking of me!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to each of you!

This is a picture of our lamb cake my DH always  likes at easter. I find I really enjoy making cards over cakes especially when the  girls come home and say what a cute Bishon puppy it is!

Oh well! Have a wonderful day with your families!

3 way Punch Card!

I was playing with the punches again! This is just a really quick card I made with some of the pieces I had punched for the board I made. I simply embossed the white cardstock and punched out a pink border and added the punched flowers. Clean and simple!

Sneak Peek

I love the two new punches that are in the SummerMini Catalog! They both punch 3 ways! I created a canvas board which would look adorable in a little girls room and it was quick and easy to do!

Bella & Whipper Snapper Easter Cards

These are the two other cards made at SYAO in KathyMarshalls class. Fun cards to do when you want some down time to color and relax! I used Copics to color these but I'm going to do some with the oil color pencils and Gamsol to get a different look.

Stamping Bella

I took a class at Stamp Your Art Out in Cincinnati  (513-793-4558) last night, Kathy Marshall taught it. Kathy is so talented I'm really glad to see that she decided to teach. The Bella girls were stamped twice then cut and layered and glittered! We also used the Nestabilities and Cuttlebug for the frames. I have boxes of those  I've never used! Now maybe I will get them out and try them! Kathy will be teaching another class May 5th with similar techniques, I'm signed up and can't wait! We made two other cards as well but my glitter is still drying, check back soon for another post!

Baby Shower Invitation

The baby shower invitation was done the "old fashion" way of tracing and cutting! I couldn't find a cricut  cartridge to fit my needs, but this certainly made me love my Cricut even more!

Baby Shower Invitation

This is for a baby shower I'm giving in June. So cute! Love Copics to color with!

Spring is in the air!

Thought I'd share a couple of spring cards with you today! The fabric flower was made from the Bigz L Die "Fun Flowers" and I use some of the Designer Fabric "Springtime Vintage" from the SU Occasions catalog. The flower is called "Adornments" from the catalog as well. I think they look like the  icing decorations for cakes in the store!
Your Sew Sweet card stamps and paper and pom pom ribbon is from the Mini Occasions. Love the pom pom embellishment.
And finally our "How thoughtful" card is from the set " Clearly for you", this was a quickie!

Have a great day and enjoy the sun!

birthday card entry

Big News! My baby  is in the National Honor Society! What an honor for her! And she turns 16 on the 28th! What a month she's having and of course she thinks she'll be getting her license soon!
I can't believe she is going to be 16! We worked on her "Sweet 16" birthday invites this weekend.  I thought she'd want something more sophisticated, but she still wanted the cupcake theme! ( just maybe she's not growing up too fast! yeah!)We used the Big Shot for cutting all of those scallops and embossing the dotted swiss back ground. How easy does the Big Shot make our lives? Gotta LOVE it!

this is one I sent in to Create with Bubbe for her contest  peggy@bubbesbiz.com

May Class Cards

For May 13th s class we will be doing three designs, 2 of each design so you will leave with 6 cards- Class fee $15.  The pictures show 2 of the designs. Laura made me a Birthday card this year using this birthday layout and the new Stampin up cupcake set and matching create a cupcake punch! I changed up the colors for the class. I love getting ideas from others, it makes life much easier! The Father's Day card is part of my many requests to do masucline cards, I figured you can change the sentiment in class to Happy Birthday, Thinking of you, thank you, whatever fits your need.
Did you notice how clear these pictures are compared to  Katie's invitation post! I just figured out this Scan button of the printer so I don't have to download the pictures from my cameras. I'm so excited!
Well off to my real job :( Have a great day and I think I'll re post Katies invite because they are so cute!

Memory Board Class

Our upcoming Memory Board Class is  April 29th either 9:30 am or 6 :30 pm You can pick either cream or black background, then we'll use DSP , antique it and embellish it to fit your needs. The example on top is from my dear  friend Patti and it tells a story of my life and loves. The board below is one I'm working on for my Mom for Mothers Day! The are so much fun once you get started and look for your own charms and embellishments to tell your story!
